# Find & replace subtitles

Find & Replace allows you to quickly correct recurring errors in your video transcript. Instead of manually editing each instance of a misspelled name, brand, or term, you can find and fix all occurrences at once.

## When to use find and replace

Find and Replace is particularly useful for:

* Correcting names that AI transcription misspells or mishears

* Fixing brand names or product terminology

* Updating technical terms that weren't transcribed correctly

* Replacing any word or phrase that appears multiple times in your transcript

## How to use find and replace

1. Click on the "Subs" tab

2. Click on the occurrence of the word you want to replace

3. Click the Find and Replace tool icon on the bottom left of the subs sidebar

4. In the **Replace with** field, type the correct word or phrase

5. The tool will show you how many instances were found in your transcript

6. Navigate between instances using the arrow buttons to preview each occurrence

7. Click **Replace** to update all instances at once
