# How to migrate your videos from Loom to Tella

> Download individual Loom videos as MP4 or import your entire Loom library into Tella.

## Download a single Loom video (free, no account)

You can download any public Loom video as an MP4 without creating a Tella account. Visit the free downloader, paste the video's share link, and click **Download MP4** — no software to install.

#### Steps

1. Copy the share URL of any public Loom video.
2. Paste it into the downloader and click **Download MP4**.
3. Save the MP4 to your device. The download link is valid for 1 hour.

  Only public Loom videos can be downloaded. To download a private video, make it temporarily public in Loom, download it, then set it back to private. Videos longer than 30 minutes or larger than 2 GB are not supported by the free tool — sign up to import those directly into Tella.

## Import your full Loom library into Tella

Migrate your videos from Loom in less than 2 minutes.

1. Log into your Loom account and set the videos you want to migrate to public. Alternatively, put all the videos you want to migrate into a public Loom folder.
2. Copy the link to the video or folder you want to migrate.
3. In Tella, go to [Workspace Name > Settings > Migrate](https://www.tella.tv/settings/migrate).
4. Paste the URL of your video or folder, then click **Import**.

All your videos will upload automatically into a new playlist called **Loom Import \[date]** in your library. This playlist is private to you, even if you run the import inside a shared workspace.

  If you refresh or revisit the Migrate page while an import is in progress, the page picks up the in-flight import and keeps showing its progress.

  Upload time may vary depending on the number of videos you are migrating.

<Warning>
  **Loom Spaces links aren't supported.** Links in the format `loom.com/spaces/...` are private to your Loom workspace and can't be fetched by Tella. To import videos from a Space, move or copy them to a folder in **My Library**, share that folder with a public link, then paste the `loom.com/share/folder/...` link into the Migrate page.
