# Linear integration

Tella's Linear integration lets you turn Tella recordings into Linear issues in seconds. Record a bug, generate an AI summary, and file it directly to Linear - ready for an agent or teammate to pick up.

## What you can do

* **Create Linear issues from AI-generated documents**: Record a video, generate a summary with Tella's AI, and create a Linear issue with one click. The video link is automatically included in the issue description.

* **File bug reports instantly**: Use the bug report flow to record a bug, let AI generate a structured report, and push it straight to Linear.

* **Set a default team**: Choose a default Linear team so issues are created without extra steps.

* **Embed Tella videos in Linear**: Paste any Tella video link into Linear issues, comments, or documents and it embeds automatically. [Learn more](/docs/help/integrations/embed-tella-videos-in-linear "/help/integrations/embed-tella-videos-in-linear").

## Connect your Linear account

1. Go to **Settings → Integrations** in Tella

2. Find **Linear** and click **Connect**

3. Authorize Tella in the popup window

4. Once connected, you'll see a "Connected" badge and can select a default team

## Create a Linear issue from a video

1. Open a Tella video and use **AI Ask** to generate a document (bug report, summary, meeting notes, etc.)

2. In the generated document modal, click **Create Linear issue**

3. Select a team if you haven't set a default

4. The issue is created with the document content and a link to your video

5. Click the link to open the issue in Linear

## Bug report flow

1. Record a video of the bug you want to report

2. Click **Bug Report** in the AI suggestions

3. Tella generates a structured bug report from your recording

4. The report is filed as a Linear issue automatically, with the video embedded for context

## Set a default team

To skip team selection each time you create an issue:

1. Go to **Settings → Integrations**

2. Under **Linear**, use the **Default team** dropdown to pick your team

You can change or remove this at any time.

## Disconnect Linear

To disconnect your Linear account, go to **Settings → Integrations** and click **Disconnect** next to Linear.
