What works on mobile
- Recording quick videos — record with your camera and microphone from a phone or tablet browser.
- Watching videos — share links, embeds, and playlists all play fine in mobile browsers.
- Browsing your library — you can log in, view your videos and playlists, and copy share links.
Record on your phone or tablet
- Log in to Tella from your mobile browser.
- Tap Record.
- Allow camera and microphone access when your browser asks.
- Choose your camera and microphone, then tap the red record button.
- Tap the red button again to stop.
Mobile recording uses quick mode automatically. To record multiple clips, edit your video, add zooms, or change layouts, open Tella on a computer.
Record your screen on mobile
Screen recording depends on what your mobile browser supports. If screen sharing is available, Tella shows a Share screen button in the mobile recorder. On iPhone and iPad, screen sharing is limited by Safari. You can record another Safari tab, but leaving Safari can stop the screen share. For full phone or tablet screen demos, record from a computer:- iPhone demos using QuickTime
- iPhone demos using screen mirroring
- iPad screen sharing
- Use your iPhone as a webcam
Edit mobile recordings
Mobile recordings are saved like any other Tella video. Open the video from your library on a computer and click Edit to trim it, add zooms, change layouts, or adjust subtitles. You can also record with your phone’s camera app, then upload the file to Tella from a computer.See Minimum usage requirements for supported computers and browsers.
