These shortcuts let you quickly jump between tools in the editor sidebar.These keys switch between tools in the left sidebar, they do not toggle a panel open and closed. Pressing 1 always opens the setup panel; pressing it again while setup is already open does nothing. The editor’s left sidebar is always visible and there is no way to hide or collapse it. Escape closes the command menu only, it does not close the sidebar. You do not need to close the sidebar to keep editing, just pick another tool or click your video on the timeline or canvas.
