Client-side exception error

Quick fixes to try first

1. Try Incognito/Private Mode

Open Tella in an incognito or private browser window. This bypasses extensions and cached data that might be causing issues.

  • Chrome: Ctrl+Shift+N (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+N (Mac)

  • Firefox: Ctrl+Shift+P (Windows) or Cmd+Shift+P (Mac)

  • Safari: Cmd+Shift+N

2. Try a different browser

If you're using Chrome, try Firefox or Safari (on Mac). Sometimes browser-specific settings or extensions can interfere with Tella.

3. Check VPN or security software

Some VPNs, firewalls, or security software can block connections to our services. Try temporarily disabling:

  • VPN connections

  • Corporate firewalls or proxy settings

  • Antivirus web protection features

4. Disable browser extensions

Ad blockers and privacy extensions sometimes block scripts that Tella needs to function. Try disabling extensions temporarily, especially:

  • Ad blockers (uBlock Origin, AdBlock Plus)

  • Privacy tools (Privacy Badger, Ghostery)

  • Script blockers (NoScript)

5. Clear browser cache and cookies

Cached data can sometimes cause conflicts. Clear your browser's cache and cookies for tella.tv:

  1. Go to your browser's settings

  2. Find "Privacy" or "Clear browsing data"

  3. Select "Cookies" and "Cached images and files"

  4. Clear the data and restart your browser

  • A screenshot of the console via your browser's developer tools

  • Whether the issue occurs in incognito mode
