How to replace a section of your video in Tella

Replacing a section of your video with a new clip in Tella can be achieved using the split and trim tools. Follow these steps to seamlessly insert new content into your existing video.

Steps to replace a section of your video

1. Open your video: Launch the Tella editor and open the video you wish to edit.

2. Find the unwanted section: Navigate to the point on the timeline where the unwanted section begins.

3. Split the clip: Click the Split button to divide the clip at the beginning of the unwanted section.

4. End of unwanted section: Move to where the unwanted section ends and click Split again to separate it.

5. Delete the unwanted section: Select the split section you wish to remove and press Delete.

6. Insert the new clip: Drag and drop your new clip into the timeline where the gap is.

7. Reset if needed: Use the Reset button in the trim sidebar to revert your video back to its original state if necessary.
