Video slow to load or not opening in the editor?

If your video is taking a long time to load in the editor, not opening at all, or causing the editor to hang, try enabling Edit faster mode.

How to enable Edit faster

1. Open your video in the editor

2. Look for the Setup tab in the right sidebar

3. Toggle on Edit faster

This uses a lower-resolution preview while you edit, which speeds up loading and makes the editor more responsive, especially for longer videos or on slower computers.

When to use Edit faster

• Your video takes a long time to load

• The editor feels sluggish or unresponsive

• You're working on a longer video

• Your computer has limited RAM or processing power

Does this affect my final video quality?

No. Edit faster only affects the preview while you're editing. When you export or share your video, it will be rendered at full quality.
